Otpho

Terms of service

Last updated October 20, 2026

These terms cover your use of Otpho, an appointments service operated by Jeffrey Hunter (“we”). By signing in or booking, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

The service

Businesses use Otpho to publish their offices, staff, and hours and to manage appointments. Customers use it to book, move, and cancel appointments with those businesses. Each business is responsible for its own hours, services, prices, and the appointments themselves; we provide the booking service, not the services you book.

Your account

You sign in with a phone number you’re entitled to use, confirmed by a one-time code. Keep your phone and its codes to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on your account. If you lose your phone or change your number, tell us at support@otpho.com.

Using it fairly

Don’t book appointments you don’t mean to keep, use someone else’s number, try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, overload the service, or use it to break the law. Businesses must keep their information accurate and may invite only people who work with them. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Text messages

Program. Otpho appointment messages. When you give us your phone number to sign in, you agree to receive texts from Otpho about your account and appointments:

Frequency. Message frequency varies with your appointments, usually two to four messages for each appointment, plus a code each time you sign in.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We don’t charge for texts.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; we’ll confirm and send no more. Reply START to turn them back on. Sign-in codes are sent only when you ask for one.

Help. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@otpho.com.

Other terms. We never send marketing texts. Consent to texts isn’t a condition of any purchase. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are sent to US numbers only. The privacy policy covers how we handle your number.

Availability

We work to keep Otpho running and your appointments correct, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Messages can be delayed or fail to arrive, so don’t rely on a text alone for something important; check the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed appointment or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to US$100.

Ending

You can stop using Otpho and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or change the service, and will give reasonable notice where we can.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Otpho after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
