Move someone to another group when their job changes, or to make them an owner. What they can do changes with the group. Only owners can move people to another group.
Move someone
- Tap Settings, then People and access.
- Tap the person.
- Under Group, choose their new group.
- If the group works only at certain offices, choose at least one office under Offices.
- Tap Save.
You can't open yourself in this list. Another owner can move you.
Make someone an owner
Move them to the Owner group, as above. Owners can do everything, including changing permissions and moving people.
You can't invite someone straight into the Owner group. Invite them into another group, and once they've joined, move them to Owner.
Things to know
- There's always at least one owner. Otpho won't let you move the last owner out of the Owner group. Make someone else an owner first.
- Each move shows in the Changes log, in Settings, then Permissions, then Changes.
