The website button is a button for your own website that opens your booking page. You design it in the app, then copy a short snippet of HTML into your website.
Owners and admins can make the website button.
Design the button
- Tap Settings, then Booking page.
- Tap Website button.
- Under Colour, tap a colour. To use your own, tap # and enter its code, such as #5b4bd6.
- Under Shape, choose Square, Rounded or Pill.
- Under Size, choose Small, Medium or Large.
- Change the Label if you like. It starts as "Book now" and can be up to 40 characters.
The preview at the top shows how it will look. The label's text color is picked for you so it reads well on the button.
The look you choose is kept on your iPhone, so it's there the next time you open this screen on the same phone.
Get the snippet
- Tap Copy snippet to copy it, or Share snippet to send it, for example to whoever looks after your website.
- When you copy it, you'll see Snippet copied.
The snippet is plain HTML with no script. It links to your booking page.
Paste it into your website
Where you paste it depends on how your website is built. Most website builders let you add a block of your own HTML, often called an HTML, code or embed block.
- Open the page where you want the button in your website's editor.
- Add an HTML or embed block where the button should go.
- Paste the snippet into it.
- Save and publish the page.
If you're not sure how, send the snippet to whoever manages your website.
Bookings from the button
Bookings made through the button are counted under Website button in Tracking links. See Tracking links.
If you change the button later, get a new snippet and replace the old one on your website.
