People on your team don't need to sign in to be booked. Inviting them lets them see their own appointments and add their own time off on their iPhone.
By default, only owners can send the invitation. Owners, admins and office managers can save a person's mobile and email; office managers can do this for people at their own offices.
Save their mobile number
- Tap Team, then tap their name.
- Tap Sign-in.
- Enter their Mobile. It's used for staff messages and the invitation.
- Add their Email if you like. It's optional.
- Tap Save.
Their number and email are kept by Otpho's messaging service, not with your appointments. A number can belong to only one person.
Send the invitation
- On Sign-in and contact, tap Invite to sign in.
- You'll see Invitation sent followed by their name.
They get a text with a link. The link works for 7 days. Signing in to Otpho with the same number works too.
If they haven't joined yet, the Sign-in row says when you invited them. To send a new link, tap Send the invitation again. Earlier links stop working.
You can't invite someone you've deactivated. Reactivate them first.
What they see
When they open the link, they tap Continue with your phone, enter their number and the 6-digit code, then tap Join. If they're already signed in, they can tap Join, or Use another number to sign in with a different one.
Once they've joined, they have two tabs: Today and Settings. Today shows their own appointments at their office. In Settings they can add their own time off under Your time off.
After they've joined, their Sign-in row says they sign in to see their day and add time off. From then on, their number is theirs to look after, and you can no longer change it.
If an invitation has expired, they'll see "This invitation has expired". Send them a new one.
